Cancellations, although not ideal, do happen occasionally. However, you can rest assured that with LandTrust, you have the highest level of protection around cancellations.
A guest has 48 hours to cancel from the moment you accept their booking request in order to receive a full refund. After 48 hours, there is no refund unless the listing is found to be fraudulent. You can read our Cancellation Policy to learn more about why we take this strict approach.
If a guest cancels after the 48 hour period from when you accepted their booking, they will not receive a refund. LandTrust will initiate a direct deposit of the total value of the canceled booking minus LandTrust's fees to the bank account you have connected to your LandTrust account. The transfer can take 3-5 business days to post in your account. The dates of the canceled booking will then be re-opened for other Sportsmen to book.
A guest cancels their $1,000 booking for October 1st - October 5th on your listing after the 48 hour cancellation period.
- LandTrust will initiate a direct deposit transfer to the bank account you have connected to your LandTrust account for $900 ($1,000 minus LandTrust's fee of $100)
- October 1st - October 5th will be marked as available on your LandTrust listing's calendar automatically
