LandTrust's messaging capability makes it easy for you to connect with other LandTrust community members to ask questions about listings and book trips. There are two scenarios in LandTrust where users can message each other.

Inquiries

Guests can initiate messages with Landowners via the 'Contact Landowner' button which creates an Inquiry for a listing which a Landowner can then reply to (read how to initiate an Inquiry here). Once an Inquiry is created, Landowner & guest can message back and forth until the guest has all his questions answered and makes a booking request. 

Bookings

Guests & Landowners can also message back & forth when booking requests are made and after a booking request has been accepted (read about how to make a booking request here). For Landowners, messaging the guest after accepting a booking request is a great way to send along the exact address of the property, driving directions, gate codes, etc. for the Sportsman.

How to reply to a new message in LandTrust

Now that we've gone over the different scenarios when you'll be able to message other LandTrust users, here's how to reply to a new message that you've received, whether it's tied to an Inquiry, Booking Request or an Accepted Booking.
