How do I book a trip on LandTrust?

LandTrust makes booking outdoor recreation trips and experiences on private land as easy as booking a hotel room or Airbnb online. Just a couple of clicks and you're ready to go on your next adventure!

There are two ways to book a trip on the site, either directly from a listing page OR from within your inbox messages with a landowner. 

To make a booking directly from the listing page:

1. Select the Start Date & End Date you'd like to book in the calendar on the listing. 
2. Select how many party members will be in the booking in the Party Size dropdown
3. Next, select what activity you'll be doing on your trip. 
4. Review the Booking Breakdown and make sure all the information looks correct
5. Click the Request to Book button, you will not be charged yet
6. You'll be brought to the checkout page where you'll
   1. Enter your credit card information as well as
   2. Write a message to the Landowner. NOTE: At this point, you're making a booking request which a Landowner can either accept or decline. Writing a nice message to the Landowner will help them more quickly accept your request. 
   3. Review the booking total
   4. Click the red Send Request button to submit your booking request.

To make a booking from within your inbox messages:

1. Go to your inbox, then click on the landowner of the listing you'd like to book.
2. Select the Start Date & End Date you'd like to book in the calendar on the listing.
